Elitism in America

My latest on “Down the Hall” over at WABCRadio.com takes a look at elitism in the country. Elitism seems to have turned into a simple distinction: Can you read or not?

Mayor Michael Bloomberg is once again showing his true, elitist colors. Last week, The Wall Street Journal quoted Mayor Bloomberg as saying, in regards to the newly elected Congressmen and women, “If you look at the U.S., you look at who we’re electing to Congress, to the Senate — they can’t read.”

This is a blatant attack on the shipment of fresh blood that Washington, D.C. will receive come January 3rd, 2011. This way of thinking seems to be more and more popular on the left side of the aisle.
