Medals for Entertainers’ Charade

I don’t know where to begin, so I will write this blog the same way I have done my award-winning radio show for so many years: just start talking— except in this case to just start writing.

Several things . . . no, many things rile me up! That is why so often I don’t know where to begin.

First of all, what is this nonsense of having five entertainers appear at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C.? Why does each one of them get a medal?

True, many of them are famous and even some of them are talented, but what is the reason for the presidential salute? And, what is the reason for presenting them with a medal?

Just take one of last night’s recipients, Oprah Winfrey, for example. Here is an arrogant multi-billionaire whose cup truly does run over.

Did she make those billions because she was contributing something to mankind?

No, she was appearing on her daily television program and was capable of attracting a large audience.

I take nothing away from her. It takes a special charisma to attract and maintain an audience five days a week.

Of course, having interesting and famous guests doesn’t hurt either.

In any event, I did not intend on devoting today’s blog to Ms. Winfrey. I only write about her today because she is emblematic of the charade which was foisted on the American people Sunday night.

What made this year’s presentation more repulsive to me is the fact the narcissist in chief, otherwise known as Barack Hussein Obama, was sitting in his presidential box and enjoying himself immensely.

What else is annoying me?

How about this? Why is America so obsessed with homosexuality? Everywhere one turns there is a story about our obsession with the gay world.

Culture, politics, marriage and, of course, the military homosexuality is advancing. The great magazine, Whistleblower, has a front page story on this very issue and they ask why this is so.

For some reason, history is replete with stories of great empires collapsing at their very peak of greatness and achievement after they embraced homosexuality.

Is there a connection?

I think it is not just the acceptance of open homosexuality that has been their undoing, but the diminishing of morality on every level.

The glue that held these disparate civilizations together could no longer hold and that spelled their doom.

I predict our doom is at hand somewhere in the 21st century.

I am not young enough to be sure I will see this tenebrous prediction come true, but, perhaps you will!
