Manson and Rammstein

Marilyn Manson is set to release his latest studio album, Born Villian, on May 1st, 2012. In preparation and support for that, he’s embarked on a US theater tour and is also performing at several awards shows, including the Revolver Golden Gods Awards in Los Angeles.

On March 22nd, 2012, Manson performed at the ECHO Awards in Germany. Well, let me say that again…Manson performed at the ECHO Awards in Germany with Rammstein as his backing band.

Yeah. You read that right. Manson sang with Rammstein. What song did they perform?

“Beautiful People.” The classic Manson tune that everyone can’t help but bang their heads to, whether you are a fan or not. Rammstein killed it. Manson was on top of his game. The two combined made for an exceptional performance – aside from the audience who I’m not sure this particular performance was geared toward

The performance was streamed live online. If you missed it, fret not: Watch it right now. Watch it over and over and over.

As fantastic as this alliance was, let me say this: I hope Manson didn’t shoot himself in the foot…Rammstein is one of the greatest live bands in the world, and there is no question they amplified Manson’s performance. Oh well. This was a hell of a show.

Maybe the two should hit the road together?

If you want to hear the first track released from Marilyn Manson’s Born Villian, here you go! Enjoy.
