New Scott Weiland Track

From Spinner.com:

Scott Weiland was gracious enough to allow Spinner to premiere his contribution to the soundtrack of the upcoming “Avengers” movie. The album, entitled Avengers Assembly, also features the likes of Soundgarden, Papa Roach, Bush and Kasabian.

So, here is the Stone Temple Pilots frontman’s new track “Breathe.” The soundtrack will be available on May 1, and the movie will hit theaters on May 4.

Click here to check out the track, and then come back to Free Gotham to tell us what you think…Within seconds of posting the link on Facebook, Free Gotham Fan Lauri succinctly stated, “Love it.”

Personally, this Free Gotham writer isn’t exactly blown away by the track. As far as Weiland solo stuff goes, it’s about status quo. Poppier than STP, but still has his signature hook. It’s not a bad song…it’s just not a great song.

What do you think?
