Chuck Armstrong

Chuck Armstrong

Chuck Armstrong is the founder of FreeGotham.com. His vision and passion for this site stem from his absolute obsession with all things entertainment-related. Chuck was born in Kansas and attended school at Kansas State University. He was a weekly columnist for the school’s award-winning paper. After a controversial column was refused to run by the editor-in-chief, Chuck was promptly fired from the paper. That didn’t matter; he still had a voice at the student radio station where his weekly talk show won the Kansas Association of Broadcasters’ Entertainment Program of the Year award two years in a row.

After college Chuck moved to Kansas City. Among other responsibilities, Chuck hosted a weekly talk show on News Radio 980 KMBZ and filled in on a regular basis for the daily shows. When he was offered the overnights on 98.9 The Rock, he had to bow out of his talk show duties and focus solely on all things active rock.

Chuck now lives in Manhattan, New York where he works for the country’s biggest talk radio station.
